Thibault Catry (M) joined the IRD in 2013 after a European PhD in Physical Modeling for the Protection of the Environment and Earth Sciences (volcanology speciality) in joint supervision between the University of Bologna (Italy) and La Réunion. He is part of the Space Observation Environment (OSE) team of the UMR Espace-Dev (Space for Development), within the House of Remote Sensing in Montpellier. A specialist in RADAR remote sensing, he develops methodologies for processing Earth observation data for the production of spatialized indicators dedicated to the study of the Spatio-temporal dynamics of environmental processes. Its activities combining RADAR and optical data apply to the fields of the environment/health, hydrology.
