Objectives
Blue-Cloud is a European H2020 project with the overarching aim of federating and piloting innovative services for Marine Research & the Blue Economy. Blue-Cloud is working towards the establishment of a marine-thematic EOSC serving the Blue Economy, Marine Environment and Marine Knowledge agendas.
Collaboration with PHIDIAS
- Exploring how the HPC services developed by PHIDIAS can enhance and support the Blue-Cloud demonstrators capacity.
- Investigating the role of HPC resources in the future Blue-Cloud framework and in the context of our Roadmap.
- Joint dissemination activities focused on improving the usage of cloud & HPC services for marine data management.
Expected Impact
Better understanding how to improve the long-term stewardship of marine in-situ data and raise awareness of the benefits of standardised HPC services for marine studies and allow marine data processing workflows for on-demand processing.
